The remanufactured T032120 (Epson T0321) cartridge that I Refilled is not accepted by the printer
The chip on the cartridge may need to be reset to a "full" status with
our chip resetter.
NOTE: You may want to remove the guide on the chip resetter and
line the resetter and chip up manually.
- Line up the 7 prongs on the chip
resetter with the seven electronic pads on the chip that is on your
cartridge.
- Once you have them lined up, press the resetter to the
chip.
- You will see a red light, a flashing red light, and then a green
light. This takes less than 10 seconds.
- Once you get the green light showing on the chip resetter, the chip has been successfully
reset to read a "full" status when you place it back into your
machine.

There may be a problem with the connection between the
chip on the cartridge and the chip reader in the machine:
-
Remove the cartridge from the machine.
- Clean off the chip on the cartridge with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol to ensure a good
connection.
- It is a good idea to clean the area in the machine that reads the
chip on the cartridge as well. You can use canned air to remove any
debris that might be on the area in the machine that reads the electronics on the
cartridge, or you can blow on the area in the machine to remove any loose
debris that is present.
NOTE: Cleaning both the cartridge and the
machine this way will help
to ensure a good connection between the two.

If the cartridge does not read a full status when you place it into the machine,
the guide on the chip resetter may not be allowing you to line up the prongs on
the chip resetter to the pads on the chip properly:
- Remove the guide from the chip resetter and attempt to reset the guide by lining up the 7 prongs on it to the 7 pads that are on the
chip
- Once you have them properly aligned, press the resetter to the chip until the light on the chip resetter turns green.
- You will see a red light, a flashing red light, and then a green light.
- Once you get the green light, the chip has been successfully reset to read
a "full" status when you place it back into your machine.

If the chip resetter light is not working at all when you attempt to reset a
chip on one of your cartridges:
- Remove the screws on the chip resetter and remove the cover.
- Carefully take out the circuit board inside and turn it over.
- You should see the batteries at this point on the circuit board. Carefully remove and/or reseat them into their holding slots.
- Carefully put the chip resetter back together and test it.
- If you are still not getting the light to come on, the chip resetter
likely needs new batteries to be installed.
