The compatible Canon Pixus 860 I yellow (4482A003AA) cartridge that I Refilled is leaking
If the ink flows out of the exit port when you attempt to
refill the cartridge, the exit port is not sealed properly:
- You need to clean and dry the area around the exit port before you try to seal it with the tape. I also find it helpful to keep a finger on the tape while I am refilling the cartridge just to make sure the ink doesn't leak out.

If your cartridge is not holding the ink you injected after you have completed
all of the refill steps, the set screw seal is not airtight:
- Seal the outlet port and remove the set screw.
- You can use a little wax around the threads of the set screw, or just tighten it down a bit more, to get the required seal.
