The remanufactured T047220 (Epson T0472) cartridge that I Refilled is printing poorly or not at printing at all
There may be some dried ink, or debris, that is stopping the ink from flowing
through the printhead in the machine. This can be cleared up by cleaning the printhead:
-
Try running your printer's printhead cleaning routine (refer to your owner's
manual if you need assistance) to see if that gets your cartridge to print
properly. If this routine fixes the problem, you do not need to go any
further. If you see improvement in your prints, try running the routine
again to see if it will resolve the problem for you.

If the above cleaning routine doesn't help the situation, you will want to
manually clean the printhead in your machine:

Another very good method is to use an empty cartridge and fill it with printhead
cleaner. Then, run it through the "troubled" printhead by printing the associated color
intensive pages to clean the printheads out of any debris, or dried ink
that may be present at the jets. If they do not clear immediately, let
the solution set in the printer for a while (overnight if necessary) before you
try again. This will allow the cleaner to break down whatever is clogging
the jets in the printhead.

The cartridge may not be getting the air that it requires to release the
ink. Make sure that you didn't tape over the original pull tab area on the top of the cartridge.
- This area being left open allows air into the top of cartridge so the ink can be released at the bottom through the exit port.
If this area is sealed, the cartridge will not be able to release the ink
due to a "vacuum" being built up in the cartridge.

There is possibly an air bubble problem in your machine:
- Tap the top of the cartridge and let it set a while to allow the air bubble to work its way out via gravity.
- If this doesn't work then drip some ink into the inlet port in the machine (with the cartridge out, of course) using your syringe and needle.
- Place the cartridge back into the machine and attempt to print again.
- Repeat as necessary to remove any air bubbles that might be present in
your machine.
