The EP87C (Canon 7432A005AA) cartridge that I Refilled is not accepted by the printer
|
While replacing the chip, something may have gotten on it that is disrupting the connection between the chip and the chip reading
mechanism in the printer. Cleaning it off with rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol should remove anything that is disrupting this connection.

The memory inside the machine may need to be reset. Try turning off the printer, unplugging it, and letting it set for five minutes.
After five minutes, plug the printer back in and turn it back on.
